FAQ

It is difficult to give an exact number of cycles as it depends on many factors - mold type, size, relief, thickness, handling, lubrication, molding and storage. The approximate value is between 50 and 300 cycles

It is necessary to wash off the remains of cement deposits from the mold with a detergent, after drying the mold spray on the surface of the product to restore gloss and let it dry, after a few minutes the mold will become shiny, if the scratches are deep - repeat the procedure until the full recovery

A 1.8-3 mm thick mold frame is required, the material for its manufacture can be metal, wood, plywood, chipboard or a combination of these materials

When using molds, cement-sand mortar often gets stuck in cracks and depressions on the face and other sides of the plaque. It can be washed off with a detergent (13% hydrochloric acid solution)

Before adding pigment to the mortar it is recommended to prepare it, i.e. dilute dry pigment with warm water, get a sour cream-like mass, leave it for at least 6 hours (in this case when adding pigment will work 100%, not 60% or 80%). Manufacturers of pigment recommendations for its addition to the mortar do not offer recommendations, there is general information - 2-5% by weight of cement. Most add pigment to the dry mix during mixing, without its preparation. Which method to choose - decide for yourself.
